![]() Yea, I knew what you meant, and if they had nice CSS capability/templates for their lists or bigger DB's I'd easily switch, tho I prefer aniDB's tags since it had more Isekai tagged than anywhere else I checked at that time which I used to make my WTD tag, but not sure if aniDB have that same capability, or making mini-lists of series like Monagatori that can be easily shared so someone can track where I'm at in a series, also I use a script so yea it'd be a bit crazy to do it all manually. So why sit and think up my own tags when there's a pre-existing system that already fits my usecase and is imo more flexible and thus more helpful to me than some self-made system (that would only reflect A-P's system anyways)? I do realize that people use their lists differently though, so whatever works for you. witches: I simply filter my WtW list with the tag Witches and look at the results, which is way simpler than me having to remember to tag every single anime that has witches with this tag by hand as I add them to my PTW. Shoujo is the counterpart of Shounen, a demographic aimed at boys and young men. ![]() The most iconic and influential Shoujo character designs come from the early 20th century, where girls and boys alike were drawn with huge eyes. ![]() The production of manga in many forms remains extremely prolific, so a single list covering all the notable works would not be. The term is also now used for a variety of other works in the style of or influenced by the Japanese comics. So when I'm trying to think of stuff I could watch in my PTW, I go to my Want to Watch section on A-P and filter based on these tags say I want to watch something with e.g. Shoujo (), translated as 'young woman', is a demographic aimed at teenage girls. Manga () are comics created in Japan, or by Japanese creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century. This has a lot of tags for even the most improbably niche stuff one could think of looking up e.g. If you tag every anime/manga like I do it's extremely helpful at organizing your lists.Īs I mentioned on my post, I use the premade tags system on this other anime site I use, Anime-Planet instead.
